$11 More at the Pharmacy?

A change to House Bill 1665 could raise Mississippi prescription costs by $11 per visit.

The Problem

The Senate added a provision forcing employer health plans to pay more. Because employers—not PBMs—pay for prescriptions, businesses and workers are left to pay the difference.

The Reality for Families

• Higher insurance premiums
• Higher deductibles
• Higher copays at the pharmacy
Mississippi families deserve reform — not a $11 pharmacy tax.
